Soul of a Nation

Soul of a Nation is a show that moved me not only because it was powerful and touching but also because it spoke about something that I rarely thought about. It me think and question my assumptions about what art means to different viewers of different races.
The show spans a period of 20 years that were crucial to the development of a newborn contemporary black identity. The body of work is quite diverse always political and often personal.
